Another week has rolled by and it's been quite an awesome one for us! To begin with, we had a splendid guest performance by Eric Morrissey, a Fairfield University grad who's in India to talk to students about college life in the US and rip away the rumors and misconceptions surrounding oversees education. He joined our artists at BDL Museum and put up a fab performance. Read more about this jam here: Music at the Museum! He also shot a video with us which we will be sharing soon. Keep an eye out for it for it promises a pleasant surprise.
Also, it was the week of giving – DaanUtsav, and we celebrated this festival with a bang. A big 'Thank you' to all the organizations – Quantum Mutual Fund, Equitymaster, PersonalFN and Help Your NGO for donating generously to our 'Gift a Smile' initiative. The items will be distributed among 4 municipal schools/Aanganwadis. We visited one municipal school and one children shelter home yesterday and gifted them with writing materials and sanitary items.
And now for our videos!
Our artists performed at Kitab Khana to celebrate the '100 Thousand Poets for Change' festival. They put up performances that celebrated the natural elements. Watch Shilpa Nair and Kevin Sissoko sing a song about the rains!
